We are glad to be part of the 17th International Summer School Youth and Heritage, which is attended by 30 young people between ages 20-35, students in their final year of undergraduate, masters or doctoral programs directly or indirectly linked with cultural heritage.

The program is taking place from 27 July to 12 August 2022 and consists of practical workshops of traditional arts and crafts, educational lectures by world-renowned scholars, visits to cultural heritage sites in Sarajevo, Mostar and Stolac and various leisure activities.

The core goals of the ISSYH17 are research and knowledge-exchange to foster and promote tolerance, link social recovery/reconstruction and the re-establishment of cultural memory after wartime and other trauma and build an environment for social dialogue and the continuous renewal of social trust, while respecting the diversity to which Bosnian cultural heritage bears witness as a paradigmatic case in the current global situation.

To honor the students and their journey, the City of Sarajevo held a reception at the magnificent City Hall on July 28, 2022, where on our behalf, Latifa Imamović, Head of Marketing at Klika, welcomed the students alongside with Dr. Benjamina Karić, the Mayor of Sarajevo and Mr. Kenan Magoda, President of the Tourist Association Canton Sarajevo. It was great to catch up with the students and hear what they are most excited about.

Part of our CSR strategy is to #giveback, and we're proud to be one of the official supporters of this amazing educational program and take an active role in significant community activities.
