Interview with Aleksandar Antić

As a part of our special Klika Service Awards program, Klika decided to devote this blog space to our colleagues who reached five or more years of working at Klika during this quarter of the year. By sharing their experience and stories of their career path, members of our team celebrating the 5 year milestone encourage and motivate young engineers at Klika, but also in the IT industry in general.

Today we are presenting Aleksandar Antić, our Senior Android Developer and a member of Klika for 5 years.

Dear Aleksandar, we are happy to celebrate this milestone with you!

You’ve been growing with Klika for five years, and we are looking forward to your future milestones and achievements!

Let’s start with a simple question! Which project are you working on and what is your current role? 

I have been working at Klika for more than five years as an Android developer on several FinTech projects. Currently, I work as a Senior Android Developer on the ONBE project.



Tell us more about your career path at Klika. Have your roles and projects changed during the time?  

After successfully finishing the internship program, I got a job as an Android developer. The first project that I worked on was Natixis Bank, where I was working on developing an android mobile banking app. It lasted for about two years. After we successfully ended it, I started working on another android banking application for Bawag Bank. It is also a big project we built from scratch where I gained a lot of experiences and good practices. It lasted almost three years, and it now has nearly 500000 downloads. And as I already wrote, currently, I work on the Onbe project that we have also built from scratch using the latest technologies and best practices.


What do you like the most about Klika? What makes Klika special and motivates you to keep riding the waves?

Klika provides an excellent environment for working and developing technical and soft skills. There are various projects where you can work, using the latest technologies. Colleagues are willing to help, and you can make progress very quickly. Also, many great Klika perks help to be more satisfied, happier, and more productive.


What do you consider your biggest accomplishment during the period you spent at Klika?

Together with my colleagues have successfully completed two large FinTech projects through which I have developed technical and communication skills. Besides that, I have met many great people and collected beautiful memories.


What’s your favorite memory from the time you spent at Klika so far?

It is difficult to emphasize and favor only one, there were many, and I hope there will be even more in the future :D


How do you see yourself at Klika in the next five years? What’s your future vision of Klika?

My next goal is to continue learning and developing technical and communication skills to reach the position of mobile technology lead. And regarding the company’s future, Klika will surely become a company that is recognizable both in the regional and global markets.


What is a piece of advice that you would like to share with people who are just getting started their career at Klika?

There is no failure except in no longer trying.
